Card 001 — Directory

A lending network for scholars

The Resource Exchange

Some of us have database access, archive proximity, or library privileges that others don't. This exchange connects the two — without ever putting anyone's email address on public display.

If you have access

Offer a resource

  • List what you can offer — a database, an archive visit, an ILL request, a scan.
  • Your listing gets a reference number and appears on the public directory. Your email stays private, always.
  • When someone requests it, you'll get a private email with their message. Reply only if you want to.

If you need access

Post a need

  • Describe what you're looking for and the subject area.
  • Your post gets a reference number and appears on the request directory.
  • Anyone who can help will email you privately — your address is never shown either.

Nobody's inbox is public

Every listing shows only what you choose to share — your handle, what you're offering or looking for, and a reference number. Real addresses like jsmith@university.edu are relayed privately behind the scenes and never appear on either directory page.

Already have a reference number?

Reference numbers starting with R- are offers; N- are requests. You'll find the right number listed next to each entry on the directory pages above.
